"The Sonrise Stable series combines my love of God and horses in stories designed to help children learn more about both. I have been blessed with three daughters and homeschooled each through high school. I enjoy trail riding my Rocky Mountain mare, Nikki, hiking, photography, and playing guitar. I work from home as a web designer."

Local Author Showcase
The Local Author Showcase will be during the Christmas Walk in Uptown Marysville on Monday, November 26 @ 6:00-8:00pm in Meeting Room A. There will be refreshments and complimentary gift wrap. Thanks for your support of our local authors!
Decorations will be provided by The Weeping Willow.
Brenda George

Brenda George was diagnosed with thyroid cancer four years ago. This is her personal story of the trials she has faced and her journey to being a cancer survivor. She wants to inspire people from all walks of life to never give up hope. They too can learn to rejoice through their tears and come out stronger than they were before. Brenda lives in Marysville, Ohio, with her husband, Mark. She is the mother of two grown daughters, Sarah and Bethany. She also has a teenage son, Travis, and three adorable grandchildren, Savannah, Landon and Jackson. Last but not least, she has a lovable Old English Sheepdog named Maggie.
Alicia Adams

Alicia Adams lives in Marysville. This will be her fifth appearance at the Local Author Showcase.
Susan Gee Heino

In 2008 Heino won RWA’s Golden Heart ® Award in the Regency Historical category and her first book was published in 2009. MISTRESS BY MISTAKE and DAMSEL IN DISGUISE and TEMPTRESS IN TRAINING and PASSION AND PRETENSE are currently available in bookstores and online.
She resides in rural Ohio with her very supportive husband, and her two adorable children.
Susie Gordon

Susie Gordon is a well-known artist. She has also been published as a children's book illustration. Look for the book titled Skipingo Home, a true story about a race horse given a second chance. Written by Jane Lyon and Karen Bailey. Written for the young at heart, it is a must have this Christmas! Proceeds benefit Old Friends Equine Sanctuary.
Alan St. Jean

Alan St. Jean grew up in central Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University. St. Jean spent the first twenty years of his professional career in business and management when, in 2002, he made a life changing decision to pursue his true passion, which is a love for writing and teaching. He completed the final book of the Aidan of Oren series in 2007. He also wrote a picture book series called The Daydreams Collection.
Lillian Zarzar

Lillian Zarzar is the author of Apple-osophy: Slices of Apple-Inspired Wisdom. This is the first time the Certified Speaking Professional is joining us for the Local Author Showcase.
