MORE

Colmbus Metropolitan Library, Worthington Libraries, and Southwest Public Libraries will officially join the Central Library Consortium in May, 2013. This partnership results in 11 library systems serving 1.4 million residents across 6 counties with nearly 1.2 million titles, doubling the number of titles all of those libraries currently offer their customers.
In anticipation of this expansion, Marysville Public Library will end our participation in the OLS:MORE system effective April 1. Columbus Metropolitan Library, Worthington Libraries, and Southwest Public Libraries are consistently top-rated libraries with large, deep collections. Most, if not all, of the items our patrons are looking for will be available within the consortium. Some of the benefits for our patrons:
- CLC will collectively have nearly 1.2 million items available to our patrons
- Patrons will be able to easily place holds within the CLC via our online catalog
- All holds will be in the patron record, making them easy to view and track
- No more mystery about when or if a requested item will come in
- Faster delivery of requested items due to changes in our delivery process
Put simply, any customer from any of the libraries in the CLC will be able to borrow materials from any library in the consortium. Sharing services and materials will standardize customer experiences within the systems, making them more efficient and less costly. All these library systems appreciate the value of collaboration in a time that funding from the state has been diminishing.
If you have any questions, please contact the library at 937-642-1876.
