Volunteers Needed!
One of our most popular volunteer programs at the Marysville Public Library is AARP Tax-Aide. The library and AARP partner together to provide this vital service to seniors and low-income families during tax season each year. This free tax service is more in demand each year, and we need your help! If you have a head for numbers, this may be the volunteer opportunity for you! AARP provides training in January. Volunteers then make a commitment to volunteer 3 hours per week on Thursdays in February, March and April to assist people with their income tax returns. If this sounds like fun to you, we need your help! Contact Denise at 642-1876 ext. 26 or dbirkhoff@marysvillelib.org for more information.
