American Girl Tea Party @ Marysville Public Library

Dress in your fancy best for a tea party filled with snacks and fun activities inspired by American Girl dolls.  Bring your favorite doll (one per child) to the event! For ages Kindergarten-Sixth Grade. Registration required.

Registration for this event is now full. Please check with our Youth Services Department for information about a wait list.

 

All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver during the program.

This book club is for young readers interested in or looking to explore graphic novels. Join us every first Thursday of the month as we read and discuss fun and fascinating stories. If you love comics, or have never read one before, this club will have books for everyone! Ages 8-12.

Learn about how and what owls eat, as well as how a pellet is formed in a owl’s unique digestive system. Dissect a sterilized pellet and use investigative skills to analyze and identify the contents to figure out what the owl ate! For grades 3-6. Registration required, and is available here:

Bring the Farm to You: Maple Sugaring @ Marysville Public Library

This sweet program introduces all ages to the fascinating process of turning clear tree sap into rich maple syrup. Bring the Farm to You will share the history and lore of sugaring while demonstrating the steps it takes to create this wonderful winter-time treat. The program is very visual and includes antiques and modern equipment, making the process come to life! Participants will enjoy tasty samples of tree sap and pure maple syrup. It’s the next best thing to being in the woods!
