Who We Are
The Friends of the Marysville Public Library is a dedicated nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting the mission of the library through fundraising, volunteerism, and community engagement. We raise funds through memberships, book sales, and other activities to enhance library programs and services, grow the Endowment Fund, and offer hands-on support.
Most importantly, the Friends is a fellowship of community members who share a love for learning, reading, and their local library. It’s a great way to give back, meet new people, and help strengthen the Marysville community.

About the Endowment
In 1997, the Friends of the Library established an Endowment Fund to receive and manage long-term gifts that support the library's future. The fund’s principal is never spent, only the earnings are used to help fund special library needs. As of January 2020, the Endowment was valued at over $300,000.
Ways to Give:

Friends of the Library Board Meetings
The Friends meet on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM in the library’s meeting rooms. Meetings are open to the public, and you’re welcome to join us to learn more about our efforts!
