We’re here to support families every step of the way. From fun storytimes and hands-on learning kits to research tools and exam support, we offer resources that help your children learn, grow, and thrive. Explore all the ways we can help make reading and learning a part of your everyday life.
Discovery Kits
Make story time at home fun and interactive with our Discovery Kits! We have over 20 themed kits designed for toddlers and preschoolers, featuring books, songs, and activities.
Example: Zoo Storytime Kit, filled with animal books and fun activities.
Storytimes
Join us for engaging, age-appropriate Storytimes throughout the week. Storytimes help build early literacy skills and are a great way to have fun together.
Reading Programs
Keep your kids reading all year long! Our summer and winter programs offer activities, prizes, and plenty of great stories for the whole family.
Events
We host free events year-round for children, teens, and families. Find programs that match your child’s interests, from crafts to dance parties and games.
Homework Help
Find helpful resources for homework, research, and skill-building. Explore our online research tools like World Book Kids, Wilson’s Biography Bank, and the Science Reference Center.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and receive free books in the mail every month for children from birth to age five.
StoryWalk
Enjoy stories while exploring the outdoors! Our StoryWalk features pages from a children’s book displayed along a walking path, combining literacy and movement in a fun family activity.
Exam Proctoring
Need an exam proctored? We offer free exam proctoring services for students. Contact our Adult Services Department at 937-642-1876 to discuss exam requirements and schedule a time.
